JQ-SAl-ER5183
JQ-SAl 5183 Al-Mg MIG welding wire containing manganese; It has excellent welding performance with smooth arc, low spatter level, beautiful and bright bead appearance. Characteristics of welding wire:
1. It is commonly used for welding 5083 and 5654 aluminum alloys, with excellent seawater corrosion resistance;
2. Used for welding 6XXX series aluminum alloys and 6XXX and 5XXX series aluminum alloys;
3. Joints are sensitive to stress corrosion cracks and are not recommended for welding with high temperature resistance requirements generally.

1. Before welding, impurities such as oxide film and oil stain on the welding edge of work piece and welding wire surface should be completely removed.
2. When welding, the backing plate should be used to hold the molten metal to ensure the formation of the bead.
