Introduction：

D667 is a surfacing welding electrode of high chromium cast iron with low-hydrogen sodium coating and casting Solmayit alloy core wire. The surfacing layer has good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and cavitation resistance below 500℃, exceeding which, the hardness of the surfacing layer drops sharply.

Purpose：

The product is applicable for surfacing welding work with high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and cavitation resistance requirements, such as shaft sleeve of centrifugal cracking pump in petroleum industry, parts of mine crusher and valve cover on diesel engine.

Precautions:

1. Before welding, the welding electrode should be baked at 300-350℃ for 1h.
2. The work piece must be preheated at 500-600℃, and the oxide on the surface of the work piece shall be brushed clean before surfacing.
3. The length of each surfacing should be within 50 - 70 mm as possible.
4. After welding, the work piece should be tempered at 600-700℃ for 1 hour and then cooled slowly, or immediately put into a dry and preheated sand box or grass ash for slow cooling after welding.
