JQ-E7018 is a carbon steel welding electrode with Fe powder and low-hydrogen potassium coating, which is designed for vertical down welding work. AC/DC both can be applied.
The welding electrode has excellent welding performance with smooth arc, optimal appearance, extreme low spatter level and effortless slag removal ability. The deposited metal has stable mechanical properties, good plasticity and low temperature impact toughness; also it has low diffusion hydrogen content and good crack resistance.



The product is applicable for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel structures such as marine engineering, ships, storage tanks, pressure vessels and bridges.

1. Before welding, the welding electrode should be baked at 350℃ for 1 hour for ready use.
2.Impurities such as rust, oil stain and moisture must be cleared off of the work piece before welding.
