JQ-YD172-1 is a surfacing flux-cored welding wire shielded with CO2 gas; It has excellent surfacing performance with smooth arc, low spatter level, effortless slag removal ability and beautiful bead appearance; The deposited metal is Cr-Mo alloy, which has moderate impact wear resistance.



The product is applicable for surfacing repair of impact-resistant and moderately worn work pieces, such as gears, dredgers, tractor scrapers, deep plows, etc.

1. The work piece shall be degreased and derusted before welding.
2. When welding, the gas flow rate is generally 16-25L/min.
3. When welding with flux-cored welding wire, the dry extension length should be 15-25mm.
4. Before surfacing large work pieces, it should be properly preheated to about 300℃.
5. The humidity of welding wire warehouse should be kept below 60%.
6. The welding wire without vacuum package should not be stored for more than half a year and welding wire with vacuum package should not be stored for more than a year.
