1. The product is applicable for welding heat-treatable aluminum alloys, especially for 6XXX series alloys, with low sensitivity to hot cracks;
2. It has lower melting point and better fluidity than 5XXX series aluminum alloy;
3. Anodizing treatment is not recommended;
4.Si is easy to form Mg2Si brittle phase with Mg, which reduces the plasticity and corrosion resistance of weld. Generally, 4043 aluminum-magnesium alloy is not used for welding.
